The beauty of the United Kingdom is it is very easy to bounce around and get some amazing traveling in while you are here. The train systems are amazing here and quite easy to navigate, so I highly suggest taking advantage.

From Ayrshire, Glasgow is an hour train ride & from Glasgow,

- Edinburgh is only an hour train ride and it's truly one of the most beautiful locations in the world! Also, in August, both the Fringe Festival and Royal Tattoo takes place so there will be plenty of action going on.

- London is a four and a half hour train ride or an hour flight. Explore so many different neighborhoods and things to do! Take advantage of the underground to get around and see as much as you can.

- Six hour train ride from Glasgow and less than two hours east of London are the beautiful Cotswolds, Bath, Cardiff, and Bristol.
